Michael R. Martin was the principle investigator and author of an extensive study of Upper Saranac Lake in Franklin County, NY – one of the last large Clean Lakes Program-funded diagnostic-feasibility studies. The study included the establishment of a number of automated stream water level stations, a local weather station and three in-lake monitoring stations, resulting in well over one million data points for analysis. In addition to monitoring, modeling and plan development, Mr. Martin facilitated a number of meetings of the Citizens Advisory Committee to develop an implementation plan based upon the report.
